READ | The City Health Office conducted a Refresher Course on National Tuberculosis Program headed by Dr. Maria Klenna Rose Istino together with Mrs. Ma. Cecilia Encarnacion and Mr. Justin Paolo Canta. Participants were our Barangay Health Workers (BHWs). The activity was started with an opening remarks delivered by Mrs. Maria Cecilia Encarnacion. All participants expressed that the updated guidelines were relevant and useful for their daily work. Common areas of concerns raised including the challenges in ensuring patient adherance.

BASAHIN | Sa pagdiriwang ng Oral Health Month na may temang "TARA NA! May Cleaning at Flouride" Saan ka pa? Nagsagawa ng activities ang City Health Office sa pangunguna ng Dental Health Unit ng pag eeksamin at Flouride varnish sa ngipin ng mga mag aaral ng daycare center sa ilang piling Barangay ng ating Lungsod. Sa loob ng tatlong araw ay nakapag serbisyo ang ating mga dentista sa tatlong daang (300) mag aaral ng day care center at namahagi din sila ng dental kit sa mga Bata.

BASAHIN| Nagsagawa ng pagpupulong ang Social Hygiene Clinic ng City Health Office sa pangunguna ng ating City Health Officer na si Dr. Mercydina Caponpon sa mga may ari ng Club ng Lungsod ng San Pablo noong nakaraang Marso 2, 2026. Ang layunin ng pagpupulong ay para ipaalaala sa mga may ari ng naturang establisimyento ang kahalagahan ng pagkuha ng Health Certificate ng kanilang mga empleyado ayon sa batas na Presidential Decree (PD) 856, at layunin din ng pagpupulong na masigurado ang kalusugan at kaligtasan ng mga empleyado.

This is followed by an inspirational message from the Guest of Honor, Dr. Mercydina Abdona M. Caponpon, City Health Officer from the CHO San Pablo, where she intimates the toughest challenges she had hurdled through the years in leading the said Office.

LOOK|On the recently concluded activity of National Tuberculosis Program on Barangay Concepcion last February 19,2026. We screened a total of 115 individuals in high risk group,using the mobile Chest x ray, identifying 8 presumptive TB case who were linked to treatment. This is in collaboration with the program partner and the RCG Premiere Foundation Inc. The activity were spearheaded by Dr. Klenna Marie Istino, and Ms. Cecille Encarnacion of City Health Office.

LOOk| On the recently concluded activity on National Tuberculosis Program (NTP), our team just wrapped up a successful TB active case finding campaign using mobile chest x ray. We screened a total of 110 individuals in high risk group who were immediately linked to treatment.

READ | A tabletop exercise on Disaster Risk Reduction Management for Health ( DRRM-H) was conducted on February 10, 2026. The activity was participated by the Core team members of DRRM - H, headed by our City Health Officer and Coordinator of DRRM-H Dr. Mercydina M. Caponpon. The tabletop exercise was conducted to simulate a disaster scenario and test the response capabilities of the healthcare responder. The objective of the exercise was to test the emergency response plans and procedures, identify gaps in healthcare disaster preparedness and Enhanced coordination and communication among stakeholders. Over all the DRRM H team got an EVIDENT rating on the said activity

LOOK| Capacity building seminar on Maternal and Prenatal Health Review Updates and Enhanced Pregnancy Tracking for Healthcare Workers and Barangay Health Workers conducted last February 3 and 5 ,2026 @ San Pablo Hotel, Barangay San Jose San Pablo City, the seminar aimed to Enhanced the skills of Healthcare worker on the strategies to reduce the Maternal and Perinatal Death. The seminar also discussed the causes and contributing factors of Maternal and Perinatal deaths. It also aimed to empower healthcare providers to implement effective death review processes and improve Maternal and infant health outcomes.
