People are losing homes and lives again, not just because of the storm, but because of years of corruption and neglect. How many more disasters will it take before our leaders truly care? This isn’t just about the calamity. It’s about the greed and broken promises that continue to drown our country.

Another typhoon is coming. Take care of your loved ones, prepare for the worst, and help where you can. We can face the storm together, but don’t let your anger fade. We deserve better.

Spreading hate won’t make anyone right, it only makes the situation heavier.

Let’s choose to be kind with our words, both online and in person. Hate messages, no matter how small, can hurt someone more than we realize. If you have a concern, please use the proper channels or means to address it respectfully.

Our campus is a place to learn, support, and lift each other up, not to tear one another down. The world already has enough hate; let’s make SRC a better campus for everyone.

GANYAN YAN SHA!

Life can sometimes bring tough times like pain, loss, failure, and surprises that test our strength and character. But each of these challenges gives us a chance to grow and improve. When we face and overcome difficult moments, we discover our true strength and learn more about ourselves, helping us become stronger and wiser.

In this regard, you are invited to join the seminar titled “Ganyan Yan Sha! Building Resilience for Life’s Trauma and Challenges," on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the M.T. Gotianun Hall AVR.

WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY

This day reminds us how important it is to end the stigma about mental health. Many people stay silent about their struggles because they are afraid of being judged. That’s why today, we are encouraged to create safe spaces where everyone feels free to talk and be heard.

It also teaches us to show kindness-not only to others who may be quietly facing their own battles-but also to ourselves, by respecting our own limits and needs. Healing starts within, and it becomes stronger when we choose to be kind. Kind in our thoughts, in how we speak to ourselves, and in how we treat the people around us.
