Dr. Gutierrez, together with Congresswoman Goriceta and the Chiefs of Hospital(fellow IDCM grad), is working to strengthen the linkages with district hospitals for the effective management and referral of toxicology patients. This initiative is made possible through the support and commitment of Congresswoman Goriceta, representing the Second District of Iloilo, in strengthening healthcare services and expanding access to specialized toxicology care across the region.

Strengthening partnerships for improved healthcare delivery — USEC Maestral, RD Yumang, and Dr. Gutierrez graced the inauguration of the WVSGH BUCAS Center. The event highlighted the importance of linkages and collaboration to enhance the establishment of a Toxicology Specialty Center and the efficient management of patients requiring specialized care.

The initiative also envisions the development of a Regional Laboratory equipped with toxicology testing capabilities, ensuring better diagnostic support and comprehensive treatment for patients across the region.
