Join us in celebrating Antimicrobial Stewardship Week 2025, a vital event dedicated to promoting responsible use of antimicrobials to safeguard our health and future. This year's theme, "Act Now, Protect Our Present, Secure Our Future". 💙

The event kicked off with inspiring opening remarks from Dr. Claudette Gabrillo, emphasizing the importance of stewardship in healthcare. We also honored our Golden Soap Awardees, recognizing outstanding contributions to infection prevention and control.

Dr. Maria Luisa Maranan delivered an insightful lecture on the significance of antimicrobial stewardship and the relevance of this year's theme. Additionally, we had an engaging presentation from Biomeriux Philippines about innovative diagnostic tools like Film Array and TB Igra, which are significant in early detection and management.

To add an interactive and fun element, participants joined a handwashing games that highlighted proper hygiene practices, reinforcing the importance of infection prevention.

We are proud to share that Laguna Holy Family Hospital recently donated glucometers to Brgy. Población I & Población II of Sta. Cruz, Laguna, as part of our commitment to promoting health and wellness to the community! These donations were made in celebration of World Diabetes Day!

A heartfelt gratitude goes to the active participants from both barangays who joined us in this event. Special thanks to Brgy. Captain - Hon. Ernesto Palomique Jr. and President Ludivina Italia of the Senior Citizens of Población I, as well as Hon. Nemesis Aldreus Laviña and President Soledad Recio of the Senior Citizens of Población II
