Tricked and treat!!

This is a typical example of restoration on tooth with recurrent caries.
Recurrent caries are the type of caries underneath an old restoration.

But the real magic trick lies on tooth with incipient caries (upper right)Those caries na “gatuldok lang”Yung maliit pa naman yan doc Pwede pa yan next time. Yan yung mga naneneglect natin.Then kapag malaki na dun ipapapasta by that time malaki na.

Hello October!

New month new teeth.

Diastema closure of two central anteriors by composite restoration. I personally would want Porcelain Veneers for this case to correct the shape and angulation of the teeth. There is slight tilting towards left.

Things we consider:
Less tooth preparation (enameloplasty)
Enough space in between anteriors
Frenectomy (hindi lang kita sa picture yung kapal ng frenum)

Anterior porcelain cantilever bridge

Why cantilever bridge?

Cantilever bridges are used if the patient has a strong tooth for securing the bridge on only one side of the missing tooth or teeth. They are thus less stable than traditional bridges and are not recommended for the back teeth that do the bulk of the grinding and chewing.

Class V caries are near the gumline either in front or back part of teeth. This is normally because of heavy brushing.

Tooth colored restoration is done to bring back the color of the teeth and lessen the sensitivity due to open tubules exposed.

Featuring different cases of anterior veneers. These are request of my patients and we are happily agree to do it. They are included in treatment planning to polishing of veneers. We have also a series of follow ups to ensure that they have a better “feels” on there new set of veneers.

One is a bunny teeth after braces removal.
Patient has also a removable retainer since we had braces removal.

One has a whiter shade due to necrotic front teeth. Both are endodontically treated. Two laterals are also veneered to have a better shape.
