SIMC Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative The SIMC - Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative promotes, protects, and supports breastfeeding.

The SIMC-Breastfeeding Support Group is managed by the Southern Isabela Medical Center Mother Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative Committee and is committed to educating, protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding globally, using the Ten Steps approach complements and broadens the scope of the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF guidelines. Its vision is to strengthen Southern Isabela Medical Center's lactation management system and achieve the World Health Assembly (WHA) 6 global nutrition target by 2025.
