TINGNAN: SFCMC, Nagbigay Kaalaman sa Breast Cancer Screening at Surgery sa BHWs

Nagsagawa ang St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center ng forum para sa mga BHWs mula sa Sto. Tomas, Tanauan, at Malvar, Oktubre 23, 2025. Ito ay bilang bahagi ng Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Tinalakay sa forum ang breast cancer, saklaw na cancer screening ng YAKAP Program, at breast cancer surgery.

Layunin ng aktibidad na palakasin ang kaalaman ng mga BHW upang mas maipaabot sa komunidad ang tamang impormasyon at maagang pagtuklas ng kanser.

Bilang bahagi ng Breast Cancer Awareness Month, nagsagawa ang St. Frances Cabrini Cancer Institute, sa pakikipagtulungan ng Varex Imaging Philippines, ng isang Lay Forum noong Oktubre 16, 2025, na may temang “The Role of Nutrition in the Fight Against Cancer.” 🎗️🥗

Pinangunahan ito ni Dr. Wilma De Guzman-Bato, Pediatrician at Medical Nutrition Physician, na nagbahagi ng mahahalagang kaalaman tungkol sa tamang nutrisyon bilang bahagi ng holistic na pangangalaga sa mga pasyenteng may kanser.

Ang aktibidad ay dinaluhan ng ating mga cancer patients at ginanap sa Cancer Institute ng St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center. Sa pakikipagtulungan at malasakit ng ating mga partner at health advocates, patuloy nating isinusulong ang edukasyon, pag-asa, at pangangalaga para sa bawat pasyente. 💗

Bilang tugon sa mga kamakailang lindol sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa, nagsagawa ang St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center ng Earthquake Drill noong Oktubre 15, 2025. 🏥⚠️

Layunin ng aktibidad na mapalakas ang kamalayan at kahandaan ng bawat kawani sa tamang pagtugon sa oras ng sakuna. Sa pamamagitan ng mga ganitong pagsasanay, pinatitibay natin ang kultura ng kaligtasan at pagkakaisa sa loob ng ating ospital.

LOOK: St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center Celebrates 25 Years of Kidney Transplantation with Exhibit Launch

Last October 10, 2025, St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center officially unveiled its Kidney Transplant Exhibit at the Patient Access Department, Ground Floor, OPD Building, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of its Kidney Transplantation Program.

The exhibit honors 25 years of life, hope, and healing—featuring stories of donors, recipients, and the dedicated medical team behind each successful transplant.

The Kidney Transplant Exhibit is open for viewing until the end of the year.

Sa pagdiriwang ng World Smile Day 2025, nakibahagi ang St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center sa Smile Train’s Smile Wall Campaign sa pamamagitan ng paglalagay nito sa aming OPD.

Dito, inimbitahan namin ang lahat na sagutin ang tanong: “What makes you smile?” — at napuno ito ng mga sagot na nagpaalala kung gaano kahalaga ang mga simpleng bagay na nagbibigay saya at pag-asa.

Ang kampanyang ito ay hindi lamang tungkol sa ngiti; ito rin ay tungkol sa pagpapalaganap ng kamalayan sa cleft care, at pagpapakita ng kapangyarihan ng ngiti na magbago ng buhay.

Salamat sa lahat ng nakiisa at nagbahagi ng kanilang dahilan para ngumiti. Kahit sa simpleng paraan, bawat ngiti ay may hatid na pag-asa.

As the Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP) launches on September 16, 2025 at Yazaki-Torres Manufacturing Inc. in Calamba City, the event underscored the government’s Universal Health Care agenda and the value of preventive health services for workers.

Joining DOLE Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma and PhilHealth Acting President & CEO Edwin Mercado were SFCMC VP for Admin and External Affairs Dr. Florentino Afable and SFCMC President Dr. Nora A. Torres, with St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center proudly serving as the host YAKAP provider to deliver a wider range of accessible, quality health care to Filipinos.

The Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP) officially launched on September 16, 2025 at Yazaki-Torres Manufacturing Inc. in Calamba City, bringing free and convenient primary health services straight to the workplace.

As the host YAKAP provider, St. Frances Cabrini Medical Center (SFCMC) facilitated on-site diagnostics and preventive consultations for Yazaki employees, fulfilling the program’s goal of keeping Filipinos “Malayo sa Sakit.”
