🧼✨ CLEAN HANDS SAVE LIVES! ✋💧

MALINIS na KAMAY 👐
MALUSOG na BUHAY 🧬

Good hand hygiene is one of the simplest yet most effective ways to prevent the spread of germs and infections.
Remember the 20-second handwashing technique — it only takes half a minute to protect yourself and others! ⏱️

👐 Steps to Proper Handwashing:
1️⃣ Wet hands with clean, running water and apply soap.
2️⃣ Rub palms together.
3️⃣ Scrub the back of each hand.
4️⃣ Clean between fingers.
5️⃣ Scrub under nails, thumbs and palms.
6️⃣ Rinse thoroughly with running water.
7️⃣ Dry with a clean towel or air dry.

🕒 Wash for at least 20 seconds

Let’s make handwashing a habit for health and safety!💪💚

OCTOBER is BREAST CANCER Awareness Month

Key Messages for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

🩺 1. Early Detection Saves Lives

>Breast cancer is highly treatable when detected early.
>Regular breast self-examination (BSE), clinical breast exams, and mammography can detect cancer before symptoms appear.
>Know the signs: lumps, ni**le discharge, breast changes, or skin dimpling, see a doctor immediately if you notice any.

👩‍⚕️ 2. Every Woman Is at Risk

>Breast cancer can affect women (and rarely, men) of any age, though risk increases after age 40.
>Family history, age, hormonal factors, and lifestyle choices can increase risk but many women diagnosed have no family history.

🥗 3. Healthy Lifestyle Can Help Reduce Risk

>Maintain a healthy weight, exercise regularly, and eat a balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables.
>Limit alcohol, avoid smoking, and breastfeed if possible, all these lower the risk of developing breast cancer.

💕 4. Support and Compassion Matter

>Emotional and social support are vital for patients and survivors.
>Encourage open conversations about breast health, break the stigma and spread hope.
>Join awareness events, wear pink, and show solidarity with breast cancer survivors.

🏥 5. Access to Screening and Treatment Saves Lives

>Advocate for accessible breast health services in all communities.
>Early screening programs and timely treatment can significantly reduce mortality.
>Government and healthcare facilities continue to promote free or subsidized screening, take advantage of these programs.

🌸 6. Together, We Can End the Fear

>Awareness, education, and early action can change outcomes.
>“Be aware. Be proactive. Be screened.”
>Each of us plays a role, by sharing information, supporting others, or getting screened ourselves.

🦟✨ Information and Education Campaign on Dengue at Sebaste Central School ✨🦟

The Sebaste Rural Health Unit, in partnership with Sebaste Central School, conducted an Information and Education Campaign (IEC) on Dengue Prevention and Control to raise awareness among pupils, teachers, and parents.
