Flu season is here, and cases are increasing among children. Let’s protect our kids and families with these important reminders:

✅ Get the flu vaccine

Vaccination is the BEST protection against severe flu, complications, and hospitalizations.

Even if flu happens after vaccination, symptoms are usually milder and recovery is faster.

Flu vaccines are updated yearly—so make sure to vaccinate every year.

👶 Who should prioritize vaccination?

Children with asthma, heart or neurologic problems, or weak immune systems

Pregnant women

Caregivers of infants below 6 months

🧼 Practice healthy habits to prevent spread

Wash hands often and cover coughs/sneezes

Wear a mask if sick, especially in schools and crowded places

Keep sick kids at home to avoid infecting others

Clean frequently touched surfaces like doorknobs, tables, and toys
