𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Club- DMLMHS joins the nation in observing Fire Prevention Month, highlighting that “Sa pag iwas sa sunog, hindi ka nag iisa" Fire safety is a shared responsibility—between government, communities, and families—to protect lives and properties.

Fire occurs when fuel, heat, and oxygen—the fire triangle—come together. Common hazards include:
•Overloaded electrical sockets
•Poor housekeeping
•Improper storage of flammable liquids
•Blocked exits and
•Lack of fire safety training

Knowing how to act during an emergency can save lives:
•Get out
•Stay out
•Crawl low under smoke
•Feel doors for heat
•Stop, drop, and roll if clothes catch fire.

Learn to use a fire extinguisher with P.A.S.S.: Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep at the base of the fire.

Through vigilance, preparedness, and cooperation with the Bureau of Fire Protection, we can prevent fires and build safer, more resilient communities.

📌Stay away from glass window and secure yorself.
📌Turn off main switch and water OFF valve.
📌Stay calm and stay at home.
📌Use flashlights or emergency light, if not available, use candle but be careful.

AFTER:
📌Do not go near fallen trees, damaged structures and power lines.
📌Inspect your home and be careful when checking.
📌Before turning on electricity, check if there are outlets submerged in water.
📌Do not sightseeing this might hinder emergency responders.

Beyond the Finish Line: Teamwork and Service at the Division Athletic Meet 2025

The Division Athletic Association Meet 2025 became more than just an athletic event—it turned into a powerful testament to unity and the impact of true collaboration. The School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, together with the Boy Scout of the Philippines, Girl School of the Philippines, Red Cross Youth, and C.A.T., proved that teamwork really does make the dream work. Through countless hours of selfless volunteering, members poured their time, energy, and hearts into making the event safe, smooth, and successful for everyone.

A huge shout-out as well to our SCDRRMO for their unwavering assistance, support, and guidance throughout the Division Athletic Association Meet 2025. Your presence behind the scenes made a big difference.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated School Nurse, Nurse Tom Rolfe Sitchon and Nurse Sarah Jane Dayon, for their constant care, medical support, and guidance all throughout the event. Your commitment to everyone’s health and safety helped make this experience truly memorable.

Here’s to unity, service, and school spirit—’til the next meet!
