G6PDd baby

2 year old G6PDd baby - drinks Reliv NOW for Kids. May mga times an ayaw niya ng lasa. Pero ginagawan ko ng paraan para mainom niya.

Son with G6PDd

My son, Liam, is G6Pd. I have followed the strict diet of G6PDd kids as prescribed by his pedia. He was a sickly child then. His appetite was low, and a picky eater, too. He looked pale all the time, and always in and out of the hospital. On top of that, he had jaundice. At age 2, he was suspected of Dengue due to his CBC count. Although I have followed the diet of G6PDd, he still gets weak at times, and have nosebleed at school. It’s not enough that I worry about him when he is in school. But incidents like this really scare me.
When Liam turned 5, a friend of mine introduced me to this nutritional supplement called Reliv NOW for Kids. Liam loved the taste right away. And he asks for it all the time. At first, I worried about the soy-based product. I was told that soy was one of the foods to be avoided. I was assured by another pedia that it was okay for Liam to drink it. Classifies G6PD

The World Health Organization classifies G6PD genetic variants into five classes, the first three of which are deficiency states.
