Ang pagkaka-contract ng rabies mula sa kagat ng a*o habang ginagampanan ang trabaho ay maaaring makatanggap ng benepisyo sa ilalim ng Employees' Compensation Program (ECP).

Kabilang sa mga maaaring maapektuhan ng rabies ay ang mga manggagawang palaging nasa field o nakikipag-ugnayan sa publiko at kapaligiran, tulad ng:
• Meter readers
• Parcel delivery personnel
• Utility workers
• Field inspectors
• At iba pang kahalintulad na trabaho

Kung ang insidente ay nangyari habang isinasagawa ang trabaho, maaari itong ituring na work-related at maging batayan ng EC claim.

Paalala: Mahalagang agad na i-report ang insidente at mag-secure ng agarang medical attention. Siguraduhing kumpleto rin ang kaukulang dokumento upang mas mapadali ang proseso ng pag-avail ng benepisyo.

***FDA Advisory No.2025-0989 || Public Health Warning on the Circulation of Fake/Counterfeit Rabies Vaccines***

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has received and verified reports regarding the circulation and administration of counterfeit rabies vaccines in various health facilities, establishments, and unauthorized distribution channels. The use of these fake vaccines poses a serious risk to public health as they fail to provide protection against rabies, thereby increasing the risk of spreading the virus and potentially resulting in adverse effects or fatalities.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Animal Bite Treatment Center.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer anti-rabies vaccines and other immunizations
• Perform wound cleaning and proper documentation
• Monitor and record patient vital signs
• Educate patients about rabies prevention and follow-up schedules
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control in the clinic
• Assist in daily clinic operations and inventory of medical supplies
• Coordinate with doctors, LGUs, and DOH as needed

Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse (with valid PRC license)
• Preferably with experience in vaccination or animal bite treatment, but not required
• Good communication and patient-handling skills
• Can work with minimal supervision
• Willing to undergo DOH Animal Bite Center training (if not yet trained)
