With hearts filled with joy and gratitude, we humbly invite you to the Primera Misa Solemne (First Solemn Mass) of our very own, Rev. Fr. Mervin Gonzales Lomague, O.P. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora del Carmen de Álava.

As we gather in prayer, may we lift our hearts in thanksgiving for the Lord’s enduring fidelity and for the charism of St. Dominic, which continues to bear fruit in the life of the Church as it proclaims the truth, who is Christ himself.

“To praise, to bless, and to preach”. ✵ — Let us unite in giving glory to God for this blessed moment in the life of His Church especially in our parish community.

𝗧𝗨 𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗗𝗢𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗨𝗠!

In joyful thanksgiving to God’s abiding grace, the Catholic Community of Sison, Pangasinan lifts its heart in solemn celebration as we congratulate our beloved son, Rev. Fr. Mervin Gonzales Lomague, O.P. on the sacred day of his priestly Ordination.

With deep reverence and filial devotion, we commend him to the tender care of the Blessed Mother, our Ina Carmel, that she may spread her mantle of motherly protection over him. May she guide his steps, strengthen his spirit, and lead him ever closer to the heart of her Son as he faithfully participates in the mission of the Church through his priestly ministry.

May the Lord Jesus Christ, Eternal High Priest, grant him a generous heart, a steadfast faith, and a shepherd’s compassion as he serves God’s people. And may his life and ministry become a radiant witness to the merciful love of God.
