Capitol Piso Health Consultant Dr. Nikki Catalan visited Juan B. Dosado Memorial District Hospital today, December 2, to conduct an on-site assessment focused on patient care and the overall quality of services being delivered.

During her visit, Dr. Catalan toured the hospital facilities and engaged directly with the medical team. She listened attentively to their feedback and the challenges they face, ensuring that the support provided by the Province aligns with the actual needs of frontline healthcare workers.

Dr. Catalan emphasized that strong collaboration with doctors and frontline staff is essential to enhancing hospital operations and ensuring that patients receive appropriate and compassionate care.

Her visit forms part of the ongoing healthcare initiatives of Gov. Pam Baricuatro, aimed at strengthening Capitol-run hospitals and ensuring that all patients receive the best possible care in a safe and supportive environment.

We are pleased to inform everyone that the Engineering Department of Cebu Province has conducted a site visit at Juan B. Dosado Memorial District Hospital.

Following their assessment, we are delighted to announce that the total renovation of our Operating Room (OR) and Delivery Room (DR)—an important step in our preparation for upgrading to Level 1—will begin very soon.

The project is set for completion by January 2026, marking a significant improvement in our facility and service capability.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Gov. Pam Baricuatro and Dr. Nikki Catalan for their continuous support and commitment to enhancing healthcare services for our community. ❤️

🌐 Gratitude for the Support Extended to Our Hospital

Juan B. Dosado Memorial District Hospital expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the Chinese Consulate in Cebu for extending financial assistance to hospitals affected by the recent 6.9 earthquake.

Chinese Consul General Zhang Zhen generously turned over ₱3.5 million each to three Cebu Provincial Government hospitals:
• CPH–Danao
• Juan B. Dosado Memorial District Hospital, Sogod
• Daanbantayan District Hospital

This turnover was graciously witnessed by Gov. Pam Baricuatro. From the list of quake-affected hospitals presented to the Consulate, these three institutions were selected for support.

We extend our sincere thanks — Daghang salamat — to the Chinese Consulate in Cebu for this meaningful contribution.
