The Outreach with Partners conducted by RHU Matnog in Brgy. Culasi, Matnog today, January 27, 2026 showcased a unified effort to support community health and well-being.🩺💙✨

This outreach reflects our shared commitment to accessible, inclusive, and quality reproductive health services for all.

Cervical cancer remains the fourth most common cancer among women worldwide. In the Philippines alone, an estimated 7,897 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer each year, and about 4,052 lose their lives annually—equivalent to 12 Filipino women dying every day from this preventable disease.

This January, the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines – Sorsogon Chapter stands in solidarity with strong and courageous women as we observe Cervical Cancer Awareness Month.

Let’s commit to educating ourselves about cervical cancer, understanding how to prevent it, and encouraging women in our lives to get screened. Early detection saves lives—don’t wait; book your screening today.

🏆 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐃: Lubos ang aming pasasalamat sa lahat ng nakiisa sa matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) humanitarian response sa Barangay Oguis at Barangay Binanuahan, Bato Catanduanes. 💙

Nais naming kilalanin at pasalamatan ang mga sumusunod:

➡️ 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐬, sa pamumuno ni 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮 (Punong Barangay), kasama ang buong konseho, mga Barangay Health Workers (BHW), Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS), BSPO, at Barangay Tanod, sa kanilang aktibong pakikiisa at suporta sa kaganapan, kabilang ang paghahanda ng tanghalian para sa mga kalahok.
➡️ 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧, sa pamumuno ni 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝗧. 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘇𝗮 (Punong Barangay), at sa buong konseho, pati na rin sa mga BHW, BNS, at BSPO, sa kanilang suporta at pakikiisa sa aktibidad, kabilang ang paghahanda ng venue at meryenda para sa lahat.
