𝑵𝒐 𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒏, 𝒏𝒐 𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏, 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕? 💉🩸

The Sorsogon Medical Mission Group Hospital & Health Services Cooperative Nursing Service Division conducted a hands-on 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 for Nurses, last March 19, 2026.

This training course was supported by 𝐀𝐦𝐡𝐬𝐜𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐃 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 and facilitated by our Resource Speaker 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐀𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐨. The event is in line with our objectives in the Nursing Service Division to provide quality patient-centered care through professional education and training for nursing staff. The IVT Training course highlighted the importance of proper techniques in IV insertion and foundational knowledge in IV therapy.

Check out our photos last March 6, 2026 during the 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬, held at SMMGHHSC.

The training is organized by the Nursing Service Division with our DOH-certified BLS Trainers, supervised by the Sorsogon Provincial Health Office-Health Emergency Management Services. Participants included Nursing service staff across various units including newly hired nurses.

The activity is also 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝟮-𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗟𝗦 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 🏥

Today, as we commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, we pause in remembrance of the lives lost and the countless others who suffered during the years of Martial Law. We honor their courage and sacrifice, and we commit ourselves to never forget the pain and injustice of the past. May their stories remain in our hearts as a reminder to remain vigilant and to help ensure that such darkness never happens again.

The spirit of EDSA reminds us that true power lies in unity, courage, and our shared commitment to uphold human dignity.

As health workers, we reaffirm our calling to be champions of human dignity. Every life we serve is sacred. Every patient deserves compassion, respect, and care. In our daily work, may we continue to protect the vulnerable, care for the voiceless, and serve with integrity and love.
