As part of the Nutrition Month Celebration of the Municipality of Lusiana, the Provicial Health Office of Laguna conducted a two-day orientation on Philippine Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition participated by BNS, BHW, Day Care Workers, RHU staff and representatives from different schools.

We would like to thank the Rural Health Unit of Luisiana, Laguna headed by Dr. Karlou Landicho and with the help of their MNAO, Ms. Luzoel Juacalla.

Together, we can end all forms of malnutrition.

The Nutrition Services of the Provincial Health Office of Laguna (Pho Laguna) in partnership with the Department of Health Center for Health Development- CALABARZON (DOH Calabarzon) and the Municipal Government of Los Baños conducted a deworming advocacy campaign last March 10, 2022 with a theme; "Bulate Puksain, Nutrisyon Palakasin Para Covid -19 ating Talunin". It was participated by barangay health workers and barangay nutrition scholars of Los Baños, Laguna.

We would like to extend our gratitude to our CHD CaLaBaRZon partners particularly to Ms. Michelle Cumpan for being our resource speaker. We would also like to thank the Municipality of Los Baños headed by Honorable Antonio Kalaw (Mayor), their Municipal Health Office headed by Dr. Alvin Isidoro and their Municipal Nutrition Action Office headed by Ms. Madeleine Menguito Alforja.

As part of our Nutrition and Deworming Month celebration, the Nutrition Services of PHO Laguna, together with our Dental Health Services conducted a seminar, deworming activity and oral health check up in Nagcarlan, Laguna last July 23, 2021.

We would like to express our gratitude to their Municipal Mayor, Vice Mayor and Councilor for health for gracing our activity. We would like to thank the entire Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office for supporting and organizing the event.

As part of our Nutrition Month and National Deworming Month Celebration, the Nutrition Services of PHO Laguna conducted a seminar regarding this year's nutrition month theme: "Malnutrisyon Patuloy na Labanan, First 1000 Days Tutukan” and launched the kick off activity for deworming.

We would like to express our gratitude to the Municipality of Rizal for supporting this activity. We would also like to thank the Municipal Nutrition Action Office headed by Mr. Maku Almario and all the participants for you time and efforts.

In line with our goal to achieve zero MAM and SAM cases in our province, the Nutrition Services of Pho Laguna conducted a one day orientation on Philippine Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition last July 8 and 9 held at the Rural Health Unit of Magdalena, Laguna.

We would like to thank Mnao Magdalena led by their Municipal Nutrition Action Officer, Mr. Leonard Taguilaso Togado and the entire Magdalena RHU for supporting this activity.
