Heto n ang solusyon Airways Clearance Techniques. Hwag n panay gamot na tableta, pausok and inhaler. Kelangan rin natin palakasin ang muscle sa baga, sa dibdib at diaphragm.

Dahil buwan ngaun ng para sa baga. Lahat ng may COPD, pneumonia at asthma ay libre ko check up para gawaan ng therapy program. Mag mensahe lng kau para kau ay ma konsulta. Sa ibaba ang description tungkol sa pag therapy sa problema sa baga.

• Airway clearance techniques aim to improve mucus transport by the external application of a combination of forces such as:
– breathing exercises
– positive pressure or oscillation applied at the mouth – forced expiratory maneuvers
– vibration of the chest wall
– with or without specialised equipment

Conditions can be treated in PT clinic

• Cysticfibrosis
– Teenager/adult focussed • Non-CFbronchiectasis
• Primary ciliary dyskinesia
• COPD/asthma if bronchiectasis is present

Video below is application of Positive Expiratory Pressure using Aerobika device.

Can be used in any position
• Easiest to teach in sitting with elbows supported • Slow inspiration deeper than normal
• Breath hold for 3 seconds
• Active expiration toward ERV
Practical application
• Avoid paroxysmal coughing
• 10 to 15 breaths followed by the FET and one
directed cough
• Repeat for approximately 10 sets or until clear
• Change positions as appropriate
