A successful 2-day (September 25-26,2025) Adolescent Health and Development Program Activity targeting Grade 7 students of Public Secondary Schools of the Municipality of Tabina.
This activity highlights advocacies on Prevention and Management of Sexually Transmitted Infection,Human Immunodeficiency Virus /Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome and Teenage Pregnancy Awareness.
This activity was made possible under the leadership of Mayor Bader Malaco together with the Tabina RHU Personnel under the headship of Dr. Mercy Ruth M. Manginsay.
A strong collaboration with the Commission on Population and Development represented with the PopCom Officer Jovelyn C. Bation was done also. And she herself served as one of the speakers. The LGU is thankful also to the Department of Education under the leadership of PSDS Randy Butch Gamboa for giving us the access and letting the students learn through active participation. This could have not been successful also without the support of the School Nurses Ritchie G. Fernandez and Sarah May C. Tabat, Schools' Principals, teachers, staffs and to the AHDP coordinators of the different schools.
With this,we are very much hopeful that we can reduce the rate of teenage pregnancy,STI and HIV/AIDS cases not just in our municipality but to give great impact to the whole country.
