𝐍𝐍𝐂 𝟕 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟖 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧

Tabuelan, Cebu — The National Nutrition Council Region VII (NNC 7) conducted a workshop on the formulation of the Barangay Nutrition Action Plan (BNAP) for 2026–2028 in the municipality of Tabuelan, Cebu on 25-27 June 2025 at the Municipality of Tabuelan. A total of 37 participants. The activity was facilitated by Nutrition Officer II Mhea Sigourney O. Lofranco and Nutritionist-Dietitian II Eliza Zuza M. Aballe of the DO CV CHD, with the active participation of members of the Barangay Nutrition Committees (BNCs).

The activity aimed to guide the BNCs in formulating a comprehensive three-year nutrition action plan that will serve as a roadmap for addressing priority nutrition concerns at the barangay level.

The formulation of the BNAP was anchored on the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Memorandum Circular No. 2024-051, ensuring alignment with national policies and priorities. In particular, the action plans were developed following the four pillars of the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition 2023-2028 outlined in the memorandum, providing a structured and strategic approach to nutrition planning and implementation.

NNC 7 continues to support local government units in strengthening its local nutrition planning and implementation, recognizing the vital role of barangay-level initiatives in achieving improved nutrition outcomes for all. // NO II Mhea Sigourney O. Lofranco, RND

- Timbang naka abot ug 50 kilograms pataas
- Dapat Healthy ug walay gipamati sa lawas

- Matulog ug insakto sa dili mo minos 6 ka oras
