Greetings of peace and joy!

The Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines Inc. Leyte Samar Chapter an international affiliate and a recognized member of Infusion Nurses Society will be conducting a 2-day Infusion Therapy Update Training Program on April 6 and 7, 2024 (Approved by ANSAP National, March 14,2024) . This activity aims to enhance knowledge, skills and practices of every nurse practitioner to ensure patients safety in compliance with all standard requirements set for Intravenous Therapy (RA 7184 Section 7a ; the practice of IVT requires special training according to protocol established , INS Nursing Handbook 1st edition 2019 ANSAP.) The rapid changes in health care system continue to affect the provider of care that pushes nursing leadership to define a paradigm to deal creatively to navigate strategies and models in Infusion Nurse Therapy by updating their competencies through certification.

The following updates will be discussed to wit:

1. Legal Aspects of Intravenous Therapy and Standards of Care - April 6, 2024
2. Chemotherapy: Nurses Roles and Responsibilities - April 7, 2024

ANSAP Leyte Samar Chapter Professional Update held last October 19 & 20, 2019. It was an interactive and productive event together with Maam Mila V. Baltazar, MAN, RN and Maam Dolores Y. Casio, Ph. D, MAN, RN, CHA, CNM as the speakers for the two-days update.

Learning should not end upon receipt of diploma, learning is a continuous milestone.
