🌍 World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week 2025
Theme: “Act Now: Protect Our Present, Secure Our Future”

St. Louis Hospital celebrated WAAW last December 1, 2025, with the goal of raising awareness about the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance and its impact on the future of medicine.

Our resource speaker, Dr. Jonnie Lee Ladot, Infectious Disease Specialist, shared meaningful insights on antimicrobial resistance and how we can work together to combat its dangers. His talk helped deepen our understanding of responsible antimicrobial use and the importance of early action.

We were also joined by partner hospitals and nursing schools across SOCCSKSARGEN who participated in the Poster Making Contest and Quiz Bee, adding energy and excitement to the celebration.

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors for making this event possible.
