We are health professionals deployed in Tagudin Rural Health Unit as augmentation to deliver efficient and equitable health services in the Municipality of Tagudin, Ilocos Sur The Rural Health Unit of Tagudin is a preventive and curative health unit devolved to the Local Government Unit of Tagudin and is located in the middle of the town adjacent to the Municipal Hall. The RHU cater to the health needs of the its 43 barangays distributed in the coastal, along the national highway, flatlands, and hinterlands and to the neighboring towns of Suyo, Alilem, Sta Cruz in I locos Sur, Sudipen and Bangar in La union. At the present time the RHU is complemented by 1 Doctor, 2 Public Health Nurse, 1 DOH Representative, 6 rural health Midwives, 1 Rural Sanitary inspector and 4 job contracts that man the administrative and Emergency Medical Services. The Office of the Municipal Health Officer and staff solemnly pledge before God and the people of Tagudin to provide the safest possible health care and environment for our patients, visitors and staff. And provision of adequate medicines and supplies.
