20 November 2025 — General Hospital,Headquarters and Headquarters Support Group,Philippine Army welcomed an extraordinary Filipino, COL EMMANUEL D PACQUIAO (RES) PA—boxing legend, former Senator, and dedicated military reservist—for his scheduled physical and medical examination. True to his legacy as the Pambansang Kamao (Nation’s Fist), COL PACQUIAO left more than just test results behind.

As OIC Bde Commander of the 2203rd RRIBde, 12RCDG, RESCOM, PA, COL PACQUIAO not only completed his exams but also captured the hearts of military personnel and civillian human resources under the leadership of COL CAESAR ALMER E CANDELARIA MC (GSC). His humility, approachable demeanor, and genuine bond with the team reminded everyone why he remains a national treasure.

For those present, it was a rare opportunity to meet the man who has championed the Philippines in the boxing ring, fought for the marginalized as a former Senator, and continues to serve with honor as a reservist. His unwavering dedication to public service and national security embodies the true Bayanihan spirit.
