St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City, Institute of Digestive and Liver Diseases, Section of Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy is now accepting applicants for its pioneer 'Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship Training Program'

🔹 Comprehensive case mix:
High-volume ERCP, EUS, IEE, EMR/ESD, and bariatric endoscopy, with regular ex vivo skills labs.

🔹 Faculty trained locally & internationally:
12 active ERCP specialists (7 also performing EUS) with a strong regional and international mentorship network.

🔹 Dedicated, WEO CORE-recognized center:
Training at the Center for Advanced GI Endoscopy with purpose-built suites, simulation resources, and structured proctorship.

🔹 Pathways to global exposure:
Access to Institute-supported networks for further advanced training overseas (where applicable).

Congratulations to our consultants and fellows for proudly representing St. Luke’s Medical Center–Global City, Institute of Digestive and Liver Diseases (IDLD), at the Asian Pacific Digestive Week 2025 in Singapore (Nov 18–22, 2025) 🇸🇬

Dr. Ian Cua, our Institute Head, delivered a keynote lecture in the Hepatology Session and a lecture in the postgraduate course.

Dr. Enrik Aguila, our Research Committee Head, served as a facilitator and speaker in the Young Clinician Investigator Program (YCIP) and the APAGE Emerging Leaders Session.

Dr. Carlos Francisco, our bariatric endoscopy consultant, spoke in the Obesity Management Symposium.

Our fellows Dr. Dapoy Peralta and Dr. Paul Dela Peña presented posters and received travel grants.

Our fellows Dr. Rafael Mendoza, Dr. Jasmin Gondayao, Dr. Gab Alcantara, and Dr. Daniele Calda also presented their research in the poster sessions.

In total, 13 research abstracts from the institute were presented this year.
