🚨 Signs of UTI (Urinary Tract Infection)

Common Symptoms:
• 🔥 Pain or burning when urinating
• 😣 Frequent urge to p*e, but only small amounts
• 💧 Cloudy or strong-smelling urine
• 💛 Urine looks pink or reddish (blood)
• 🤕 Lower abdominal or back pain
• 🌡️ Sometimes fever or chills

In Kids:
• Fever with no known cause
• Irritability, poor feeding (in infants)

🏥 When to See a Doctor

Seek medical care if:
• Symptoms last more than 1–2 days
• 🔁 Frequent UTIs
• 🩸 There’s blood in urine
• 🤢 You have nausea/vomiting
• 🌡️ High fever, chills, or back pain (possible kidney infection)
• 👶 Patient is a child or elderly

Drink lots of water, avoid holding p*e, and maintain good hygiene.

✅ 1. Monitor Temperature
Check every 4–6 hours.

Fever = 38°C and above

✅ 2. Keep Hydrated
Water, oral rehydration solutions, soups.

Prevent dehydration!

✅ 3. Give Fever-Reducing Medicine
• Paracetamol / Acetaminophen (first choice)
• Ibuprofen (if no stomach issues / not for infants 48 hours
• Very weak, confused, or convulsions
• Severe headache, stiff neck
• Rashes that don’t fade
• Vomiting, dehydration signs
• Trouble breathing / persistent cough

How to Use ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) 💧

ORS helps prevent dehydration caused by:
• Diarrhea
• Vomiting
• Fever

📌 Mix 1 sachet with 1 liter clean water
❌ Don’t boil the solution once mixed
🕒 Consume within 24 hours

Watch out for signs of dehydration:
• Dry mouth & lips
• Weakness / dizziness
• Very little urine
