Today, our country marks Labor Day, an annual tribute for the millions of Filipino workers who formed the soul of the country. From farmers and factory workers to teachers, nurses, and mariners, this May 1, everyone recognizes the effort, the resilience, and the contribution of all laborers in every sector.

Labor Day is a celebration but also an attention point: that of dignity in work and workers' welfare as an area in national priority.
