Ang Health Assistance and Network Development-Philippines (HAND-Philippines) adunay pagahimuon nga Cataract Operation (March 18-27, 2026) ug Medical Mission (April 11-15, 2026).
Tungod niini, ang RHU Talibon maghimo ug pre-screening karong January 26, 2026 adlawng Lunes from 1pm-4pm alang sa mga mosunod nga mga procedures:
- Cataract (Adult and Pediatric)
- Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (Adult Only) – Limited to patients with symptomatic gallstones
- Hysterectomy (Adult Women Only) – Limited to symptomatic (bleeding, pain, or obstructive symptoms) leiomyomas
- Thyroidectomy – Limited to benign, euthyroid patients with obstructive symptoms
- Hernia Repair (pediatric and adult) – Limited to symptomatic, non-incarcerated inguinal, incisional, or umbilical hernias
- Hemorrhoidectomy (Adult Only) – Limited to symptomatic (pain or bleeding or history of incarceration) hemorrhoids
- Colostomy Takedown (Pediatric Only) – Limited to pediatric patients who underwent diversion colostomy for congenital imperforate a**s
- Intestinal Resection and Anastomosis (Pediatric and Adult) – Preferably for benign cases only; however, we might consider it for malignancies if there is a proof of an ongoing cancer treatment post-op, and thus they will need an attested treatment plan from an oncologist
- Excision of Congenital Neoplasms (Pediatric Only) – Examples are Teratomas, Wilm’s Tumor, etc.
- Breast Excision/Lumpectomy (Adult Women Only) – Limited to women with known breast cancer, with plans for radiation and chemotherapy, as attested by an oncologist managing them.
