As Mental Health Month comes to a close, we look back with full hearts on a month filled with learning, healing, and connection.๐
๐๏ธOctober 7โ We began with a ๐๐ข๐๐๐จ๐ง-๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฒ, ๐๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ with allied mental health professionalsโ ๐๐๐๐ฟ๐, ๐๐๐, ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ strengthening our referral system, and the ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ง๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ, setting the tone for a compassionate and reflective month. That same day, ๐๐ค๐๐ฐ, ๐๐ค๐จ, ๐๐ข๐ญ๐: ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐จ๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ was launchedโ a moving and genuine conversation about shared experiences and mental health. The heartfelt session was led by the TPC Wellness Hub- Peer Facilitators.
๐๏ธOctober 8โ The invited first-year students of TPC took part in an eye-opening seminar on ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก, with heartfelt thanks to our guest speakers, Mr. Jan Michael Artiaga, RN and Mr. Rustum Fanugao Jr., RPsy, RPm. In the afternoon, our second-year TPC students explored in understanding a timely topic, ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐, led by Ms. Niรฑa Claire Credo-Auditor, RPm.
๐๏ธOctober 9โ brought a much-needed pause for our 3rd-year students during the ๐๐๐ฅ๐-๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ซ, thoughtfully facilitated by Ms. Mabell Maglahus, RPm, who reminded us of the power of slowing down and caring for ourselves.
๐๏ธOctober 10โ A full day of ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐๐ฌ brought comfort through free haircuts and massages, sweet treats with heartfelt quotes, fun snapshots with the ๐๐๐ฅ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ก๐จ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ก, and the ๐๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ก๐จ๐ซ๐ญ ๐
๐ข๐ฅ๐ฆ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ง๐๐ซ๐ฌ. A day filled with kindness and care.
Finally, on October 11, we closed the celebration with purpose and unity at the ๐๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐
๐ฎ๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ง, made possible through the generous support of ๐๐ง๐๐๐ค๐ก๐๐ฃ๐ค๐ฃ ๐ผ๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ๐ช๐ง๐๐จ and our community partnersโPNP, MDRRMC, RHU, Philippine Coast Guard, and Bureau of Fire and Protection. Together, we ran for awareness, hope, and wellness.
As we wrap up October, we carry its message forward: Mental health mattersโnot just today, not only this month, but every day. Letโs continue to show up, speak up, and support one another. ๐๐ฟ
