In accordance with the Presidential Proclamation Nos. 368 and 727 , Declaring the Regular and Special (Non-working) days for the year 2024 and 2025, please be informed that all Out Patient Services, Administrative & Support Offices will be closed on the following dates:

December 30 (Monday) - Rizal Day
December 31 (Tuesday) - Last Day of the Year
January 1, 2025 – New Years Day

Non-emergency Outpatient Consultation and other Outpatient Services shall resume on January 2, 2025. However, Urgent and Emergency cases will be attended to in our Emergency Room throughout the holiday period.

We are happy and pleased to announce that Endoscopy Services is now available here at DOH - Cebu South Medical Center.

Our newest unit provides endoscopy services using state-of-the-art, high-definition endoscopic equipment in diagnosing and treating diseases of the gastrointestinal tracts. (Due to pandemic and infection prevention measures, the endoscopy services is only limited to our in patients)

All gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures are done by our Board Certified Medical Specialists ably attended by our seasoned Endscopy Nursing Staff.

What is an Upper Endoscopy?

•It is a procedure to examine the upper part of the digestive tract. The procedure is also called an esophagogastroduodenoscopy, or EGD.
•A gastrointestinal (GI) Physician (gastroenterologist) uses an endoscope. The scope is a narrow, flexible tube with a light and small video camera. Through the scope, your doctor can view the inside lining of your:

Esophagus: The tube that carries food from your mouth to your stomach.

Stomach: The organ that holds food and starts the digestion process.

Duodenum: The upper part of your small intestine

Public Service Announcement for COVID19 Vaccination Schedule.

Starting January 5, 2022, Our COVID19 Vaccination Schedule will be as follows:

Every Wednesday & Friday from 8:00 AM-8:00 PM for Individuals 12 years old and above (especially those who had their 1st dose with us last November 29-December 1).

Every Saturday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM for A1 (workers in essential health services), Expanded A1 (Overseas Foreign Workers (OFWs) leaving the
country in the next four (4) months, household members of Priority Group A1) and A2 (Senior Citizen)

Moreover, please be informed that there will be no OPD Consultation every Wednesday & Fridays to give way for the COVID19 Vaccination Program.

Please be guided accordingly.
