Amblyopia Is Defined As The Reduced Visual Acuity In One Eye Which Is Less Than 6/12 (20/40Line) On The Snellen Chart, With Atleast A Two Line Difference Between The Two Eyes, Without Any Ocular Disease.

It Is Also Known As Dull Vision Or Simply Lazy Eye.

The Difference In The Images Of Each Eye Lead To Abnormal Cortical Interaction, Inhibition Of One Image And Subsequently AMBLYOPIA.

AMBLYOPIA Has Got 6 Types;
I. Organic
II. Nutritional
III. Toxic
IV. Congenital
V. Psychogenic
VI. Functional .
