“Let’s start this month by teaching and inspiring our children.”

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Zone 12-A is truly grateful for opportunities that help shape the future of our youth. We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to La Consolacion College, Bacolod City for choosing our children as the beneficiaries of their Kar-Edukasyon Project.

This initiative has brought learning, hope, and encouragement to our young ones. Seeing our children benefit from this project reminds us of the importance of education and community support. We deeply appreciate the time, effort, and generosity shared with our barangay.

In line with this, the SK Council commits to continuing programs that empower and uplift the youth. Together, we move forward toward a brighter and more meaningful future for our children.

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT❗️

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Zone 12A would like to clarify that there is currently no official sports league or tournament being organized or sanctioned by the SK.

This announcement is made in light of reports about unauthorized solicitations being conducted by some individuals, claiming that the funds are for a sports league. The SK of Brgy. Zone 12A does not authorize any form of solicitation for sports-related activities at this time.

We strongly advise residents to verify first with the SK officials before giving any donations or support to avoid being misled.

For official announcements and legitimate SK activities, please refer only to our verified communication channels or coordinate directly with SK officers.

The Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly held today, December 20, 2025, was truly a meaningful and successful gathering for the youth of our barangay.

This event showed the strong unity, participation, and voice of our young people in shaping a better future. We sincerely thank our Guest, Executive Assistant for the Youth Mr. Saulo Stefano G. Lizares for sharing his time, wisdom, and inspiration with our youth. Your words motivated us to become more active, responsible, and empowered leaders in our community.

We are also deeply grateful to our very supportive Punong Barangay, Hon. Edwin Lester J. Iledan, whose constant guidance and support made this activity possible. Your commitment to youth development continues to inspire us all.

To all the youth who attended, thank you for your active participation and valuable suggestions. Your ideas will help guide the planning of upcoming and future programs of our barangay.

We celebrate a major milestone as SK Barangay Zone 12-A, under the leadership of SK Chairperson Ana Trisha D. Hellera, was awarded IDEAL FUNCTIONALITY in the Sangguniang Kabataan Functionality Assessment for Calendar Year 2025 (City Level), given this 18th day of December 2025.

Adding to this honor, SK Chairperson Ana Trisha Hellera was recognized as one of the Outstanding SK Chairpersons, and Nikko Belarmino as one of the Outstanding SK Treasurers.

This achievement reflects the team’s dedication, transparency, and sincere service to the youth of Barangay Zone 12-A. Thank you to everyone who supported and believed in our SK. This success is for the youth and with the youth. 💙
