2nd Resident Physicians’ Graduation Ceremony
On February 20, 2026, the Cebu South Medical Center proudly celebrated a milestone during its 2nd Resident Physicians’ Graduation held at the Waterfront Hotel, Cebu City.
Seven resident physicians officially completed their training—marking the culmination of years of dedication, discipline, and unwavering commitment to serve communities with compassion and excellence.
The momentous occasion was witnessed by their proud families and friends, alongside the hospital’s executive committee, training officers, consultants, and department chairpersons—each one playing a vital role in shaping these physicians into the competent and compassionate healers they are today.
Delivering an inspiring keynote address was Dr. Gary D. Galon, Chairperson of the Residency Working Committee of the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians. In his powerful message, he described the CSMC resident doctors as “navigators of the storm”—steadfast leaders who guide patients and communities through uncertainty with skill, empathy, and courage.
