CSMC Extends Heartfelt Gratitude to the Ministry of Health–BARMM for Vital Workforce Support!

The Cebu South Medical Center (CSMC), led by our Medical Center Chief II Dr. Agustin D. Agos Jr., conveys its heartfelt thanks to the Ministry of Health – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) under the leadership of Minister Dr. Kadil M. Sinolinding Jr., together with CHD-7 Regional Director Dr. Joshua Brillantes, for their timely and meaningful support.

From November 24–28, 2025, a Medical Response Team composed of physicians and nurses from the Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO) – Lanao del Sur was deployed to CSMC led by Dr. Alinader D. Minalang, Provincial Health Officer II and Dr. Nihaya P. Macasindil, Team Leader. Their presence made a real and immediate difference in our high-volume service areas, the Emergency Room, Outpatient Department, and Medical Ward, where their expertise and dedication helped ease the surge of patient needs.

We are truly grateful for this act of solidarity and commitment to public service. This inter-regional collaboration is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when institutions stand together for the health and welfare of our communities.

Cebu South Medical Center (CSMC) proudly received multiple distinctions at the 2025 Public Health – Universal Health Care Summit held on November 21, 2025, at Summit Galleria Cebu. The event was organized by the Central Visayas Center for Health Development and carried the theme, “Universal Health Care in Action: Embraced, Experienced, and Strengthened through Good Practices in Health.”

CSMC through the Health Emergency & Disaster Management Unit was honored with several major awards:
• Part of Top 3 DOH Hospital in Central Visayas for Institutionalized DRRM-H System.
• BEST Hospital DRRMH Team.
• BEST in Health Emergency Response Teams (Armored Beyond Full Compliance DRRM-H).
• Organization with Most Household Members Trained on BLS.

These recognitions reflect the dedication of the entire CSMC family and our steadfast commitment to strengthening public health and emergency readiness for the communities we serve!
