Today, we proudly celebrate a remarkable milestone achieved by one of our very own.

Ms. Elvira Canindo, who has served full-time as a Nursing Attendant II since 2017, began pursuing (2021) her long-held dream with quiet determination to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing while balancing the demands of work, and successfully passed the November 2025 Nurse Licensure Examination just last week.

Her success is more than a personal achievement. It is a reminder that growth has no fixed path or timeline, and that those who are driven by purpose will always find a way forward. Elvira’s journey reflects the spirit of Cebu South Medical Center, commitment, compassion, and an unwavering desire to serve better.

While Ms. Canindo is not the first Nursing Attendant or Midwife from CSMC to work full-time while pursuing a BSN, her story adds to a growing legacy of colleagues who continue to uplift themselves for the sake of their families, their profession, and the patients we care for every day.

To Elvira, your CSMC Nursing Service family celebrates with you. Your resilience and perseverance inspire many, especially those who are still navigating their own journeys toward becoming a Nurse. You’ve shown that with courage and consistency, dreams can be within reach.

Here’s to new beginnings and to the nurse you’ve become. We are truly proud of you. 💙✨
