TCC came alive with faith, color, and rhythm during 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝘀𝗮 𝗧𝗖𝗖 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲!

From a solemn Mass to a lively foot procession, the campus was filled with energy, music, and vibrant costumes.

The TCC Drum & Bugle Corps, Federation, Non-teaching Personnel, Balud Dance Company, non-teaching, Teaching Staff, Balud Dance Company and our BPED Students (TCC SYNERGY) brought every street and stage to life with dazzling dances and infectious energy. Their moves, bright costumes, and joyful spirit captured the heart of the celebration, showing the perfect mix of devotion and culture.

𝗦𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝘀𝗮 𝗧𝗖𝗖 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, was a true festival of unity, faith, and tradition a day where every step, every beat, and every smile celebrated our heritage and the vibrant spirit of TCC!

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: 𝐔𝐧𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝒈 𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐅𝐢𝐭 2

The Talisay City College Physical Education Department is currently in the process of expanding its pedagogy toward a more student-centered approach for the upcoming second semester. We are actively refining our methods to boost student participation and ensure everyone stays engaged in every PATHFit class. With the newly crafted and contextualized curriculum "𝑷𝑨𝑻𝑯𝑭𝒊𝒕 2: 𝑬𝒙𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒊𝒔𝒆 - 𝒃𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑭𝒊𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔", we are preparing for a semester filled with fitness challenges, physiological insights, and meaningful lessons in lifelong wellness.

To help us grow, our colleague 𝑴𝒓. 𝑲𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒅𝒚 𝑵𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒂 is currently leading a session with his fellow PE faculty members at the Building C101 Dance Room. This humble exchange of ideas allows our team to learn from one another and better serve our students. We are working hard today to ensure a better experience for you tomorrow.

In commemoration of the 𝟭𝟮𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆𝗿𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹, BPEd 𝙎𝙔𝙉𝙀𝙍𝙂𝙔, together with 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙙 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙮, was deeply honored to offer Panuyom at the foot of Rizal’s monument—serving as the opening of the program through movement imbued with meaning and reverence.

Inspired by the traditional 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘆𝗼𝗺 or 𝘀𝗲𝗮 𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻 gathering of 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹, 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘆𝗼𝗺 embodies unity, perseverance, and shared sacrifice values that reflect the ideals Dr. Jose Rizal lived and died for.

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲!!

It’s a wrap—and the stage has never felt more alive! After weeks of rehearsals, dedication, and teamwork, we proudly showcased our cultural show last December 11, 2025. With the theme 𝐁𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐖, 𝐊𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐊𝐀𝐃𝐀: 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐤 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞. Major Performance in PED 18 – Philippine Folk Dance. What started as a class requirement turned into a powerful celebration of Filipino identity, unity, and pride.

Through every sway, stomp, and graceful turn, we brought to life the colors of Luzon, the rhythms of the Visayas, and the energy of Mindanao—proving that folk dance lives on through today’s youth.

This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the people who guided, empowered, and believed in us:

Ma'am Elizabeth Orimaco - our dedicated instructor, thank you for sharing your wisdom and passion. You taught us not only the steps, but the stories behind every movement.

To Sir Kennedy Navarra - thank you for the continuous guidance and constant encouragement that pushed us to refine our skills and strive for excellence even when the process became challenging.

To Sir Jay Mart - thank you for being with us offering support and motivation. Your presence truly made a difference. All throughout the show from morning to afternoon and during our practices you're always there for us.

To our PE Instructors - thank you for the encouragement, the cheers, and the unwavering support throughout this major performance.

To Arcel Bas - hidden gem of BPEd choreographer, designer, artist, performer and so much more than words can mention. You are one of the biggest reasons why this cultural show became truly successful. Your passion, creativity, and tireless dedication were evident in every movement, every detail, and every moment on stage. Efforts go beyond what simple thanks can express, because this journey was not walked alone we made it together. Through teamwork, perseverance, and shared love for our culture.

To BPEd 2 - Aguero—saludo natong tanan! We danced, we learned, we grew and most of all, we shined together.

Preserving Pinoy Folk Dance With Pride – BPEd 2 Aguero Culminating Activity

As we close our PED 18 journey, BPEd 2–Aguero proudly presents a vibrant and meaningful cultural show that celebrates the richness of Philippine culture and tradition.

This 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 at the 𝗧𝗖𝗖 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁, join us as we highlight the power of movement, rhythm, and heritage through the diverse folk dances of our nation. From the energetic and colorful dances of Luzon, to the joyful and lively traditions of Visayas, all the way to the powerful, graceful, and culturally rooted performances of Mindanao — each step we take pays tribute to the stories, values, and identity of the Filipino people.

🔵 Mindanao – Majestic, graceful, and deeply connected to indigenous traditions.

𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲!

On October 27, 2025, we successfully held our enhancement activity titled “Mastering the Whistle: A Workshop on Games Officiating.” It was an enriching and engaging session led by our amazing speaker, Mr. Rae Vincent Tarega, who shared his expertise, experiences, and valuable insights about the art and responsibility of being a game official.

The workshop focused on developing the knowledge, confidence, and skills of our BPEd - Synergy students in officiating various sports. Through interactive discussions, practical demonstrations, and fun learning activities, they gained a deeper understanding of the important role that officials play in promoting fairness, integrity, and sportsmanship in every game.

From mastering the proper use of the whistle to learning the right hand signals and court etiquette, each part of the workshop encouraged active participation and teamwork. The BPEd students not only learned the technical aspects of officiating but also discovered the importance of good judgment, discipline, and communication—key traits that define a true and respected sports official.

It was truly a day filled with learning, teamwork, and passion for sports! The BPEd students ended the day inspired, more confident, and ready to apply what they’ve learned both inside and outside the playing field.

Let’s continue to uphold fairness, integrity, and love for the game—because every great match starts with a whistle. 🏆
