𝘼𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙘𝙠!

Yesterday marked another meaningful step in strengthening both skill and cultural appreciation among our BPEd students through an intensive Arnis Enhancement Activity, entitled 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻: 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝘆𝗼 Spearheaded by the 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀, and guided by our dedicated adviser, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲 together with the former adviser, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲 and BPEd Head 𝗠𝗿. 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮 the event became a space for growth, discipline, and excellence.

With the expertise of our resource speaker, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗔. 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀 (𝗖𝗡𝗨 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵), students were immersed in deeper learning—from refining Sinawali patterns and stances to understanding officiating and performance in Anyo.

This activity is not just about physical training—it shows our commitment to follow 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 𝟵𝟴𝟱𝟬 and to keep Arnis as a symbol of Filipino identity, discipline, and pride.

In every strike, flow, and form, we apply what we learn. As future educators, we are preparing ourselves to lead, teach, and inspire the next generation.

Balud and selected BPEd students stood in solidarity at the Talisay City Liberation Park to commemorate the 81st Takas sa Talisay, Kagawasan sa Sugbo.

𝐁𝐏𝐄𝐝 𝐄.𝐃.𝐆.𝐄.𝐒. | 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡

Yesterday, March 12, 2026, the BPEd program demonstrated how true education transcends textbooks by forging a path through service, leadership, and community protection. Under the guidance of 𝑴𝒓. 𝑵𝒐𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒐, our BPEd students translated theoretical knowledge into vital action at Cansojong National High School during a Fire Prevention and Safety Symposium themed, “𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐡𝐢 𝐔𝐧𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐊𝐨, 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐨𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐨.” By stepping beyond the classroom, these future educators mastered the T-PASS method, engaged in firefighter ladder training, and analyzed the technical anatomy of fire extinguishers and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Mentored by Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) professionals 𝑭𝑶1 𝑬𝒓𝒊𝒄 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒏 and 𝑭𝑶1 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒍𝒊𝒏 𝑱𝒂𝒚 𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒐, this immersive session proved that the BPEd specialization is the definitive intersection where physical expertise meets community resilience. It was more than just a training—it marked a meaningful evolution from student to protector.

𝐁𝐏𝐄𝐝 𝐄.𝐃.𝐆.𝐄.𝐒.: 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

Our second-year BPEd students are currently undertaking their Prelim Major Performance in Swimming and Aquatics under the guidance of 𝑪𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝑩𝒐 𝑪𝒂𝒏̃𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒔 and 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝑴𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒆𝒍 𝑱𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒏. This assessment focuses on mastering the Freestyle stroke and building vital confidence in the water within a standard facility setting.

This practical experience is a foundational step for these future educators. By immersing themselves in professional aquatic training, they develop the firsthand expertise and safety awareness necessary to one day lead their own classrooms with competence and care.

𝐁𝐏𝐄𝐝 𝐄.𝐃.𝐆.𝐄.𝐒.| 𝐏𝐄𝐝 20

Practical learning met environmental stewardship as BPEd students enrolled in 𝑷𝑬𝒅 20: 𝑬𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒂𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒚 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 successfully conducted a coastal cleanup at Baywalk Dumlog, Talisay City. By integrating real-world tasks into the curriculum, this initiative bridged the gap between classroom theory and community service. The activity challenged students to take an active role in environmental protection while reinforcing the vital link between ecological health and community disaster resilience.

This successful mobilization was made possible through the leadership of our P.E. instructor, 𝑴𝒓. 𝑱𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝑵𝒐𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒐, collaboration of the 𝑪𝑵𝑯𝑺 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑬𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎 and the generous support of our College President 𝑫𝒓. 𝑹𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒍 𝑵. 𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒐𝒔 and 𝑯𝒐𝒏. 𝑵𝒆𝒍𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝑨𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒂, Barangay Captain of Dumlog. Thank you for empowering our students to become proactive leaders in environmental advocacy and community service.

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲!!

It’s a wrap—and the stage has never felt more alive! After weeks of rehearsals, dedication, and teamwork, we proudly showcased our cultural show last December 11, 2025. With the theme 𝐁𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐖, 𝐊𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐊𝐀𝐃𝐀: 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐤 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞. Major Performance in PED 18 – Philippine Folk Dance. What started as a class requirement turned into a powerful celebration of Filipino identity, unity, and pride.

Through every sway, stomp, and graceful turn, we brought to life the colors of Luzon, the rhythms of the Visayas, and the energy of Mindanao—proving that folk dance lives on through today’s youth.
