MISSION: To provide a holistic client centered and individualized supportive care to those who are suffering from addiction. To treat each client’s underlying core problems through a three-pronged approach process. Psychologically, physically and spiritually to help them achieve a process of change where clients improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life and strive to reach their full potential. Our endeavor is to instill in them the tools and coping skills through various therapeutic modalities alongside with the 12-Step principles recovery model needed to achieve and sustain a lifelong recovery. VISION: JOURNEY TO RECOVERY CEBU Treatment and Rehabilitation Center aims to be in the forefront in providing modern and up to date high quality innovative and supportive care services in every aspect in the evolving treatment of addiction to cater for the local and international market.. JOURNEY TO RECOVERY CEBU is a residential treatment and rehabilitation center and has been dedicated in helping people overcome their struggles with substance and alcohol abuse since 2015. Providing a beginning in their journey towards a new life in recovery. Our center is composed of professionals with a combined experience of more than 20 years who understands that every person’s journey into addiction is unique. As a result, it differentiates us from other treatment centers as we provide a holistic and a client focused approach to address each client’s individual needs and issues thus involving extensive psychological and clinical interventions. Applying evidence based treatment and utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, one on one therapies, group therapies and family therapies to produce positive outcomes and also including the 12-Steps modality program facilitation aiming to rectify drug seeking behaviors, instill better coping mechanisms and teach important relapse prevention skills. Addiction to drugs or alcohol is a chronic or long term disease where a person continues to seek out and use their drug of choice despite the negative consequences. It also brings changes in the brain which can be long lasting or permanent. And most of all, it will affect the person’s relationship around him/her especially with his/her immediate family and loved ones. This is where we provide extensive family intervention in the course of the client’s intensive treatment to address any family and relationship issues and is facilitated by our treatment facilitators.

Our Story

Journey to Recovery (JTR) provides a beginning in the journey toward a new life in recovery, free from the devastating effects of drugs, alcohol and other dependencies. Founded by professionals and people in recovery themselves, JTR is located on the beautiful island of Cebu, Philippines, offering residential care in an intensive therapeutic and supportive environment, away from the confusion and distractions of living with addiction. Since 2015, our commitment has been to provide treatment of the highest quality and integrity, while optimally supporting the dignity of individuals and their families suffering from the effects of alcohol and other drug addictions. At the Journey to Recovery treatment center we see our clients as individuals suffering from a disease process that impacts all aspects of life. Starting with addressing physical needs, we strive to provide the knowledge and tools to begin the healing process. We work with clients to help them surrender the feelings of guilt and shame that often stand between them and the freedom of recovery.
