Tanauan Medical Center

Tanauan Medical Center General Hospital Services in Tanauan City C. P. Reyes Hospital is a Level 2 hospital duly accredited by the De-partment of Health. Dr. Carlito P. In May 2011, C.P.

It is strategically located at A. Mabini Avenue, Tanauan City Batangas, owned and managed by Tanauan Medical Center, Inc. Reyes initially put up a 2-bed out-patient clinic in December 1982 and after only a month of operation, it was increased to 5-bed capacity and subsequently expanded to a 30-bed capacity secondary hospital. The year 1997 marked the opening of a new C. Reyes Hospital under the management of Tanauan Medical Center, Inc. With the increasing census of hospital admissions and a need for space to house additional medical equipments, a new 5 storey 86-bed hospital building was built in September 2008. Congruent with the growth of the hospital was the rise of the 3-storey CPRH Medical Arts Building in 2010, where the doctors’ clinics are located. The MAB also houses the Industrial Clinics where medical services like Pre-employment Medical Examination and Annual Physical Examination are being done. REYES HOSPITAL was awarded a Certificate of Accreditation for Center of Excellence (Level 3 Hospital) by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation. Reyes Hospital opened up its first CPRH Satellite Clinic located at CS-15 Lima Square Arcade Hotel Drive, LIMA Technology Center, Malvar, Batangas last May 2013. This satellite clinic provides facilities including Diagnostic Ancillary Services, X-ray, ECG & Audiometry. Ambulance service is also offered to attend to the needs of patients with emergency cases. Industrial physicians are available from Monday to Friday, 1pm to 8pm, for medical examinations. In July 2013, the new CPRH Annex Building was inaugurated to ac-commodate the increasing volume of patients being admitted at our institu-tion. C.P. Reyes Hospital was then re-accredited by the Department of Health with a 98-bed capacity. It houses additional suite, private and semi-private rooms, new OR/DR Complex, spacious Conference Room, Administrative Offices and the new PhilHealth Accredited Dialysis Center which operates from Mondays to Saturdays, 8am to 5pm. Reyes Hospital received an Exemplary Achiever Award in the 2013 Newborn Screening Program given by the National Institute of Health, UP Manila and the Department of Health last October 29, 2013 in Heritage Hotel, Manila. To ensure that C.P. Reyes Hospital will meet the standards set by ISO, the TUV Rheinland accredited CPRH with ISO 9001:2008 last March 20, 2015, making CPRH the first ISO-accredited hospital in Tanauan City Batangas. With our goals focused on the emphasis of quality and innovative services, medical excellence and compassionate care, we look forward to bringing the hospital to new heights in the years to come. Our competitive advantage lies in the quality of our facilities and services supported by the competent medical professionals who are invariably trained to provide efficient, prompt and patient-friendly service. Another milestone took place at C.P. Reyes Hospital last August 2015 when a partnership with St. Luke’s Medical Center was entered into wherein a Memorandum of Agreement was made that will create a mutual commitment not only to improve the delivery of health care to its patients but to collaborate with one another so they could be centers of service, education and research in healthcare. St. Luke’s will be a referral hospital for specialised diagnostic examinations and services as well as subspecialty consultations. This date also marked the inauguration of new CPRH Annex B Building which houses the new ICU-NICU Complex, Cardiac Laboratory, expanded PT and Rehabilitation Department, HMO and business offices and additional patients’ semi-private rooms. At present, state-of-the-art medical equipments like 16 slice CT scan, 4D Ultrasound machine, Urine flow cytometry machine, Chemistry analyzer machine, Phototherapy machine, Digital ECG machine, Multi-function defibrillator and monitor machines are available for use by our growing number of patients. Upcoming improvements include the renovation and expansion of laboratory department by acquisition of upgraded and modern machines as well as Installation of Laboratory Information System. A blood bank facility is expected to be set up before the year ends. Major renovations of the main building are the expansion of our diagnostic department, more spacious ward section, new central supply room and linen area, a bigger 10-12 unit dialysis center and an improved admitting section area. The emergency room section is to be expanded and increased from 6 to 10 bed capacity. Future plans of the hospital are the construction of 4th floor in the MAB to increase the number of doctors’ clinics. Additional machines to be acquired in 2016 will include a mammogram, C-arm and new endoscopy unit. Reyes Hospital was then re-accredited by the Department of Health with a 137-bed capacity on March 11, 2016

An efficient and competent administrative body, medical staff and hospital personnel are available to provide holistic health care services to valued clients.

We hope everyone’s Valentine’s Day was filled with warmth, hope, and heartfelt smiles! 💕
