🐾 Rabies Awareness Reminder 🐾

Hindi porket walang dugo ang sugat ay ligtas ka na sa rabies. Kahit gasgas, maliit na hiwa, kagat na halos hindi pansin, o laway na dumikit sa sugat o balat na may sugat ay maaaring magdulot ng rabies exposure.

⚠️ Tandaan: Ang rabies ay nakamamatay kapag hindi naagapan, ngunit ito ay 100% naiiwasan kung maagapan.

Huwag mag-self assess. Mas mabuti na ang sigurado kaysa magsisi sa huli.

Kapag nakagat o nakalmot ng hayop:

1️⃣ Hugasan agad ang sugat
- Sabunin at banlawan ng dumadaloy na tubig sa loob ng 15 minuto
- Nakakatulong ito para mabawasan ang virus sa sugat

2️⃣ Magpacheck-up agad
- Pumunta sa pinakamalapit na Animal Bite Center o Ospital
- Malalaman kung kailangan ng anti-rabies vaccine at iba pang gamot

3️⃣ Kompletuhin ang bakuna
- Sundin ang schedule ng bakuna (Day 0, 3, 7, at 28)
- Huwag ihinto kahit magaling na ang sugat

Protektahan ang sarili at pamilya laban sa rabies.
Ang maagap na aksyon ay nakapagliligtas ng buhay.
