The Traslación 2026 was not just a test of physical endurance, but a journey of faith. As millions of devotees processed through the streets of Manila, our team remained steadfast in our mission: to be the silent hands that catch those in need.

To ensure the safety of millions during the Feast of the Black Nazarene, a multi-agency medical team successfully rendered augmentation duty across the procession route.

It was a privilege to work hand-in-hand with National Children's Hospital (under the leadership of Dr. Christian Ramos) , the BS TANAY First Responders, Braven volunteer Rescue and other rescue organization. This synergy allowed us to provide a swift and effective safety net for all devotees.

Our deepest thanks to Mr. Lito Tanjuatco for his unwavering support. Your heart for this advocacy ensures that we can continue to safeguard our fellow Filipinos during their most fervent moments of devotion.

APGAR SCORE:

The APGAR score is a rapid clinical assessment tool used to evaluate a newborn’s physiologic status immediately after birth.
It helps assess adaptation to extra-uterine life, not the need for resuscitation.

Timing of Assessment

→ Assessed at 1 minute and 5 minutes after birth
→ Additional scores may be recorded at 10 minutes or later if:

Thursday, January 09, 2025 - The Traslación is a significant religious event celebrated in the Philippines, particularly in Manila, every January 9. It commemorates the annual procession of the Black Nazarene, a life-sized statue of Jesus Christ, which is believed to have miraculous powers. In 2025, as in previous years, millions of devotees are expected to participate in this grand religious event, which includes a colorful and fervent procession through the streets of Quiapo. This event symbolizes the deep faith, devotion, and reverence of the Filipino people for the Black Nazarene, reflecting a long-standing tradition of prayer, unity, and hope. The Traslación is not only a religious observance but also a vibrant expression of Filipino culture and spirituality, drawing together people from all walks of life in a powerful display of faith.

Wilderness Medic together with BS TANAY FIRST Responders and DOH National Children's Hospital Doctors and Staffs volunteered as standby EMS to safeguard and to catered devotees whom in need of medical assistance.
