TPH Nursing Service Training Office, Hospital Drive, San Vicente, Tarlac (2025)

True to the hospital's commitment of becoming the training center of the province through partnership with other government and non-goverment organizations, the Johnson & Johnson's O.R. Nurse S.P.A.R.K.S. (Support Program to Advance & Reinforce Knowledge & Skills) in Tarlac Chapter was held today at the Fifth Floor Conference Room of the Tarlac Provincial Hospital.

Although held during a Sunday, the lecture was well attended by perioperative nurses from Tarlac Provincial Hospital, Ramos General Hospital and La Paz Medicare Community Hospital.

The speaker, Nurse Leah Ante primarily focused on concepts regarding Surgical Site Infections, Hemostatic Cascades, and concepts related to Wound and Wound Healing.

As knowledge is continuous and ever-changing, nurses of the province are receptive of these refreshers and updates in quest to improve nursing care delivery and the landscape of nursing profession here in the province and beyond.

ICYMI: 24 midiwfery students from the fourth batch of the Diploma in Midwifery of the University of the Philippines, Manila School of Health Sciences Tarlac Extension Campus had undergone their clinical orientation for the upcoming first clinical duties in the clincal areas of TPH.

The orientation program for student affiliates marks them as part of the TPH family and at large part of the health care team in the provision of healthcare to TPH clientele.

[Orientation of Newly Hired Nurses and Nursing Attendants]

Tarlac Provincial Hospital Nursing Service welcomes the newly hired staff during their department orientation.

The said orientation was facilitated by the Nursing Service Department Headed by the Chief Nursing Officer Ma'am Maria Paz T. Ong together with the nursing service administrators of Tarlac Provincial Hospital.

Various topics related to TPH management operations were discussed. Refresher sessions for basic nursing skills and procedures were also provided.

The regular orientation is part of TPH Nursing Service Training Office onboarding program to ensure the provision of compassionate and quality patient care. At TPH, we take pride not just in providing excellent healthcare, but also in creating a supportive and well-oriented environment where we prioritize continuous education and career growth.

ICYMI: Level Three Nursing students of the Panpacific University (PU) had undergone their general clinical orientation for their Related Learning Experience on the different clinical unit exposure at the Tarlac Provincial Hospital. The aforementioned student nurses will be deployed to the different areas of pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency, and labor and delivery.

True to its mission to train and develop healthcare workers as a teaching and training healthcare facility, TPH partners with different affiliating schools to provide their healthcare students with clinical experiences required to equip them with basic competencies as beginning professionals.

[30th Annual RENAP Convention]
