📢 ANNOUNCEMENT

In observance of October 31, 2025 as a Special Non-Working Day (All Saints’ Day Eve) pursuant to Proclamation No. 727, please be informed that there will be no office work and classes at Tarlac State University from October 31 to November 2, 2025.

🕊️ This observance allows everyone to spend meaningful time with their families as we commemorate All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

Accordingly, the University Health Services Unit, including the Medical Service Unit (Main Campus, Lucinda Campus and San. Isidro Campus) , Dental Service Unit (Main Campus and Lucinda Campus), and Pollution Control and Safety Unit (PCSU), will also be closed during this period.

📆 Classes will resume on November 3 (Monday), while office and clinic operations will resume on November 4 (Tuesday).

For everyone’s information and guidance.

OCTOBER 31, 2025 AS SPECIAL NON-WORKING DAY

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 727 of the Malacañang Palace, October 31, 2025 (Friday), or the All Saints' Day Eve, is declared as an additional special non-working day throughout the entire country to give the Filipino people enough time to be with their families during the commemoration of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day.

In this regard, there will be no office work and classes at Tarlac State University from October 31 to November 2, 2025.

Classes will resume on November 3 (Monday), while office operations will be available starting November 4 (Tuesday).

HEALTH ALERT: DIARRHEA – What You Need to Know! 💧

Diarrhea isn’t just a minor inconvenience — it can lead to dehydration and serious health risks if not treated properly. Stay informed and protected! 🛡️

🦠 WHAT IS DIARRHEA?
Passing loose or watery stool 3 or more times a day. It may be a sign of infection or digestive trouble.

⚠️ Possible Causes:
• Dirty or contaminated food & water
• Bacteria, viruses, or parasites
• Food allergies or intolerances
• Certain medications
• Stress or digestive conditions

🔍 Watch Out for These Symptoms:
• Watery stool
• Stomach pain or cramps
• Vomiting or nausea
• Fever
• Signs of dehydration (dry lips, little urine, dizziness)

✅ What You Should Do:
✔️ Drink lots of clean water
✔️ Use Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS)
✔️ Eat bland food (rice, toast, bananas)
❌ Avoid oily, spicy, or sweet foods
⚠️ Don’t self-medicate — consult a doctor!

‎𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | Grade 11, parents assemble for Student Parent Orientation

‎Tarlac State University Laboratory School (TSU-LS) welcomed their new Grade 11 students and their parents for the Student and Parent orientation this afternoon, August 11, 2025, at Priscilla Hall, TSU Hotel, Lucinda Campus.

‎The program kicked off with the singing of the National Anthem and TSU Hymn, followed by the opening remarks lead by the TSU-LS principal, Dr. Mellany G. Masangkay, warmly greeting and welcoming the students and their parents.

‎This was followed by a virtual inspirational message by the TSU President, Arnold E. Velasco, alongside LS Supreme Student Government (SSG) President Johnny Ree Afante, introducing other SSG officers, further welcoming students.

‎Additionally, before formally beginning the orientation, intermission performances by the Performing Arts Music Club, Eles Melodika, then followed by the Performing Arts Dance Club, El Saltatio, midway through the orientation.

‎The orientation introduced TSU’s Mission, Vision, Core values, as well as campus tour, building and facility locations, and Campus and University rules, regulations, and guidelines.

‎Moreover, a brief orientation on University Health services, lead by Sir William D. Salak, RN MSN, introduced the health services, offered by TSU, Dental services, location of the Lucinda Clinic and Dental Office, and schedule of operating hours of the facility.

‎Attendees were also oriented on the services offered by the Office of the Management Information Systems, Human Resource Development and Management Office, Library Management Services, Student Discipline Office, Guidance Counseling Office, Student Organizations Unit, and TSU-LS policies, grading system, staff introduction, and calendar of activities.

‎The program ended with PADC conducting their final dance performance, followed by the closing remarks led by Dr. Oliver G. Cura.
