• Runny nose
• Sore throat

Office of the University Health Services – Medical Service Unit

Please be informed that Dr. Rommel M. Hernandez will be out of the clinic on February 6, 2026 (Friday).

However, the Medical Service Unit will remain open and operational from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM to accommodate clients for other medical concerns and services.

✔️ Eliminating standing water (tires, cans, containers)
✔️ Covering water containers properly

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT

In observance of October 31, 2025 as a Special Non-Working Day (All Saints’ Day Eve) pursuant to Proclamation No. 727, please be informed that there will be no office work and classes at Tarlac State University from October 31 to November 2, 2025.

🕊️ This observance allows everyone to spend meaningful time with their families as we commemorate All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

Accordingly, the University Health Services Unit, including the Medical Service Unit (Main Campus, Lucinda Campus and San. Isidro Campus) , Dental Service Unit (Main Campus and Lucinda Campus), and Pollution Control and Safety Unit (PCSU), will also be closed during this period.

📆 Classes will resume on November 3 (Monday), while office and clinic operations will resume on November 4 (Tuesday).

For everyone’s information and guidance.

OCTOBER 31, 2025 AS SPECIAL NON-WORKING DAY

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 727 of the Malacañang Palace, October 31, 2025 (Friday), or the All Saints' Day Eve, is declared as an additional special non-working day throughout the entire country to give the Filipino people enough time to be with their families during the commemoration of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day.

In this regard, there will be no office work and classes at Tarlac State University from October 31 to November 2, 2025.

Classes will resume on November 3 (Monday), while office operations will be available starting November 4 (Tuesday).

Diarrhea isn’t just a minor inconvenience — it can lead to dehydration and serious health risks if not treated properly. Stay informed and protected! 🛡️

🦠 WHAT IS DIARRHEA?
Passing loose or watery stool 3 or more times a day. It may be a sign of infection or digestive trouble.

⚠️ Possible Causes:
• Dirty or contaminated food & water
• Bacteria, viruses, or parasites
• Food allergies or intolerances
• Certain medications
• Stress or digestive conditions

🔍 Watch Out for These Symptoms:
• Watery stool
• Stomach pain or cramps
• Vomiting or nausea
• Fever
• Signs of dehydration (dry lips, little urine, dizziness)

✔️ Drink lots of clean water
