The Philippine Red Cross Tarlac Chapter joined the celebration of Filipino Elderly Week 2025 with the theme “Embracing Age: Living Life with Dignity and Purpose” held on October 17, 2025, at Bulwagan Kanlahi, Diwa ng Tarlac, San Vicente, Tarlac City. 🧡

As part of the event, food donations sponsored by Gardenia Bakeries Philippines Inc. were distributed to our beloved elderly participants, a simple gesture to honor their strength, wisdom, and contribution to the community. 👵👴🍞

🎉 We had an incredible day celebrating Global Handwashing Day at Dapdap High School! 🧼

​Today, October 15, 2025, our mission was clear: to reinforce the importance of clean hands as a simple, effective, and affordable tool for a healthier life.

​It was inspiring to see the Dapdap High School community wholeheartedly participate in our activities!

​Highlights of the Day:
​Raising Awareness: We discussed why handwashing is a critical defense against germs and illnesses, emphasizing its lasting benefits.

​Proper Demonstration: Students actively learned and practiced the correct handwashing steps—scrubbing for at least 20 seconds to wash germs away.

​Permanent Reminder: We posted new instructional tarpaulins near the school's handwashing stations to encourage the habit all year round.

​Student Engagement: The energy was fantastic as students confidently performed the handwashing ritual, showing their commitment to personal hygiene!

​Let's keep the momentum going! A simple wash with soap and water is a superpower we all possess. Let's make every day a Clean Hands Day!
