CANINE PARVO VIRUS (CPV) is one of the most contagious and deadly diseases in dogs. 🚨
It spreads through infected p**p, contaminated surfaces, and even on shoes and clothes. Puppies are at highest risk.

Watch out for early signs:
- vomiting
- foul-smelling bloody diarrhea
- fever
- extreme weakness
- loss of appetite

Parvo can kill within days — but it can be prevented through complete and timely vaccination.

Keep your home disinfected, avoid bringing unvaccinated pups to public places, and seek veterinary care at the first symptom.
Protect your pets. Save a life. 🐾❤️

🐀💦LEPTOSPIROSIS is deadly — and preventable.
Keep your pets safe with regular vaccinations and clean surroundings. Don’t wait for symptoms. Act now to protect the ones who can’t protect themselves.

Watch out for these warning signs—they can appear suddenly and worsen fast:
• Fever or sudden weakness
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• Loss of appetite
• Yellowing of eyes or gums (jaundice)
• Excessive thirst or very frequent urination
• Dehydration
• Muscle pain or stiffness
• Difficulty breathing
• Bloody urine or dark, foul-smelling urine

If you notice ANY of these, bring your pet to the vet immediately.

Help keep your pets safe with these simple steps:
• Vaccinate your pets regularly against leptospirosis.
• Avoid exposure to floodwater, stagnant water, or muddy areas, especially after rain.
• Keep pets away from rodents — clean up garbage, secure food, and close gaps where rats may enter.
• Provide clean drinking water at all times.
• Maintain good hygiene in kennels, yards, and resting areas.
• Avoid letting pets roam freely where they might encounter contaminated water or rat urine.
• Practice safe cleaning using gloves when handling pet waste or cleaning affected areas.

PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. ❤️

🚨VIRUS ALERT‼️ We have noticed an increase in distemper cases in the past few weeks ‼️

CANINE DISTEMPER is a contagious and serious disease caused by a virus that attacks the respiratory, gastrointestinal and nervous systems of puppies and dogs. Puppies and dogs most often become infected through airborne exposure (through sneezing or coughing) to the virus from an infected dog.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS?
* Twitching / Seizures
* Fever
* Nasal discharge
* Purulent eye discharge
* Lethargy
* Anorexia
* Coughing
* Vomiting
* Diarrhea
* Pustular dermatitis (rarely)
* Inflammation of the brain and spinal cord

Make sure your puppies complete their series of vaccinations and your adult dogs get their annual boosters shots.

⛔️ FISHBONES are NOT OK WITH CATS ‼️

A reminder why giving bones to pets can be dangerous :

Today we attended to a case involving a two month old kitten who was struggling to breathe and refusing to eat. Upon examination, we discovered sharp fish bones lodged in her throat. She was in pain, drooling, and at risk of infection or internal injury.

Thankfully, she received immediate veterinary care and the bones were safely removed. She’s now recovering well.

Please be careful what you give your pets. Not all pets get this lucky.
