Buzzing with excitement at the apiary today!😉

Hello February! We’ll be launching new dishes and drinks this month not including our Valentine’s specials. With a good number of bee tour bookings, the timing is perfect as our bees are gaining strength and getting ready for the honeyflow which starts on March. The air is at its coldest since December. We expect the cool weather to peak sometime mid February.
Cool weather, healthy bees, less/no rain…February is one of the best months to explore the nature surrounding Casa Mellifera.

Casa Mellifera used to be a space for bee keeping workshops. One of my first students years back, May, came to visit and brought her friends and workmates. We showed them the bees and talked a little a bit about life by this riverbend. I also met her boss, Thomas, who is also a beekeeper and brought me honey from his hive all the way from Denmark. It was great day catching up with a friend and meeting new ones.
It was a BEEautiful day 🐝
