Good meetings need a little privacy to discuss agendas and enough space to accommodate the attending party. And while it’s efficient to hold them in the work place, a change of setting could do wonders for the mood and productivity.

Some customers ask what the "Mellifera" in our restaurant name means. It is taken from the scientific name of the Western honey bee, Apis melliferra, with the Latin words "melli", meaning "honey", and "ferre", meaning "to bear".

We keep hives of these Western honey bees a few meters away from the restaurant and raise them until their golden honey is ready to be harvested. We're looking forward to bottling a new batch some time around May and June!

Just as they're hard at work making sweet honey, we're also as busy in our kitchen cooking up delicious fare. Do come on by for brunch and see our hives up close in a bee tour.

Introducing our newest addition to the Casa Mellifera menu -- Truffle Cream Pasta!

Truffles have become an increasingly popular ingredient because of its unique and intense aroma reminiscent of the forest floor. It lends its nutty and almost garlicky flavor to our dish and is enhanced by the salty and umami taste of parmesan cheese. For a Filipino twist, it's topped off with tender and savory strips of beef belly.

Definitely a must-try for truffle lovers out there! ✨
