Last July 30, 2024, NPPH Held an activity in celebration with Infection Prevention and Control Week. We had a short program headed by our Chief of Hospital, Dr Juvelito Ang together with our Nursing Service Office, Admin Office and the IPC Committee. Highlight of the program is the IPC Commitment Wall where NPPH Employees posted their personal commitment on infection prevention and control practice. In addition, our IPC Team rendered lecture on handwashing and proper wound cleaning to our Surgical and OB-GYNE patients. May we continue to fight Health Associated Infection thru Universal Precaution.

Last April 19, 2024 NPPH-IPC Headed by Ma'am Elaine Duque, RN, MSN together with the IPC Team led this years IPC Committee Meeting as a jumpstart towards preventive measure for all NPPH employee, staff and patients. Evaluation, re-implementation and new policies with new strategies were discussed. T'was one successful collaboration from the different units of NPPH. Northern Palawan Provincial Hospital supports its IPC Team as a strong arm towards healthier and favorable environment for all recipients.
We would like to extend our deep appreciation to our Chief of Hospital, Dr. Juvelito Ang, our Hospital Administrator, Rylenn Juayang and our Chief Nurse, Jill Jaboli Juanich for the unwaivering support and assistance.
