💡BE MINDFUL, BE EMPATHETIC

During this pandemic, one would realize that all the people in this world are equal in the sense that: No one is safe against covid-19. No race or wealth can stop you from acquiring the disease. If you do not follow protocols and proper precautions, there is a high possibility that you'll get infected. So, if this doesn't concern you, what else does?

We strongly hope that the healthcare system in the country would be given much attention and effort. Our healthcare workers are already exhausted but they are still underpaid and underappreciated. The leaders and the people should know better that the virus is not a joke after all that has happened.

If you want a healthy future and a better world for the next generation, let us put an end to this pandemic. Make an effort, be mindful, and be empathetic. Let us unite and follow what health experts say, no excuses. Let's follow the protocols and take the vaccine against covid-19. Together we can combat this virus!

[These are some of the interviews we have conducted virtually. The messages from our several healthcare workers would serve as an eye-opener to everyone. May we all stay vigilant and safe.]

Frontline Health-Care Workers in Combating the COVID-19:
Respect and Reflect

In the battle against the epidemic outbreak, frontline healthcare professionals have shown their dedication and responsibility. This commentary recognizes their contributions and provides valuable insights for developing future solutions to improve the healthcare workforce's preparedness and response capabilities in the face of future disease events.
In the anti-epidemic battle, frontline healthcare fighters have shown high standards of integrity, determination, and perseverance. Emerging and reemerging infectious diseases that know no boundaries are now more than ever considered public health risks. Alternatively, these public health risks should be seen as an opportunity to measure current health systems' preparedness and reaction. The early lessons learned from fighting COVID-19 in terms of government accountability, operational capacity, and response mechanisms have been widely discussed, but the position of health care workers has gotten little attention. three facets of contemplation from the viewpoint of health care workers were highlighted, first continued vigilance and situational awareness are necessary not only for early case detection but also for occupational protection. Second, strengthening emergency preparedness and response capacities is crucial for health care workers. Thirdly, healthcare workers’ psychological preparedness should not be discounted. Those on the front lines of the COVID-19 battle face a variety of psychological challenges, including caring for seriously ill people, being exposed to the virus for extended periods of time, being far from family, and also seeing coworkers becoming sick or losing loved ones.
Thus, our health care workers play a vital role in fighting the deadly virus. We must respect each one of them because they are indeed heroes who are sacrificing and spending a lot of time just to provide a high-quality service. Stay at home, abide by the minimum health standards and pray for strength and restoration for our front liners.
