This photo, taken in 1982, shows two children with autism tied to a radiator in an asylum—a heartbreaking reminder of a time when mental health care meant restraint instead of compassion.

Back then, many children with special needs were misunderstood, hidden away, and denied the care they truly deserved. Today, we choose a different path—one built on love, dignity, and understanding.
