On July 31, 2025, employees of DATRC CALABARZON participated in an Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Awareness Activity, a crucial step toward building a healthier, more informed workforce and community.
During the session, our resource speakers also provided an in-depth discussion on Tuberculosis, including modes of transmission, symptoms, prevention, and treatment. They also explained the TB certification process essential for ensuring proper diagnosis, treatment adherence, and reporting.
HIV and Tuberculosis remain major public health threats in the Philippines, often affecting the most vulnerable populations. Early detection, proper treatment, and education are key to preventing the spread and reducing stigma.
