๐Ÿ“ฐ Digestive Health Week ๐Ÿ“ฐ

The LGU joins the observance of Philippine Digestive Health Week to remind everyone that keeping the stomach healthy is important for daily living. Good digestion helps the body get energy from food, absorb nutrients, and fight sickness.

Simple reminders for a healthy stomach:
โœ… Eat more fruits, vegetables, and fiber-rich foods
โœ… Drink enough water every day
โœ… Exercise regularly
โœ… Manage stress to support gut health

Taking care of your stomach can help prevent problems like bloating, constipation, and feeling tired. RHU Tublay encourages the community to visit the health office for advice and programs on nutrition and wellness.

๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ Rabies-Free Tublay Starts With Us! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ

This Rabies Awareness Month, letโ€™s remember: our pets are family. Keeping them safe means keeping our community safe too.

๐Ÿ‘‰ What you can do:
โœ… Protect yourselfโ€”get vaccinated even without a pet bite.
โœ… Keep your pets at home, donโ€™t let them roam freely.
โœ… Register and vaccinate your dogs and cats.
โœ… Practice responsible pet ownership every day.

Together, we can build a healthier, rabies-free Tublay. Visit RHU Tublay for vaccination and more details on rabies prevention programs.

Obesity is a complex, chronic disease influenced by genetics, environment, lifestyle, and access to healthcare โ€” not simply a matter of willpower. It increases the risk of serious conditions such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and certain cancers.
Today is a reminder that prevention, early support, balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, and compassionate care can make a life-changing difference. Letโ€™s move from stigma to support and work together to create healthier communities for all. ๐Ÿ’™
Through informed food choices, regular physical activity, and supportive environments, we can work together to prevent obesity and reduce its related health risks.

Tublay DRRM-H in Action: February Health and Safety Highlights

In February, the Municipal Health Office, together with the Tublay MDRRMO, Barangay Officials, Schools, BFP, PNP and the municipalityโ€™s key leaders, worked tirelessly to improve community health services and to strengthen emergency preparedness.

- At Sto. Nino Elementary School, students were equipped with lifesaving skills through Basic Life Support (BLS), Standard First Aid (SFA), and Fire Prevention training.
- The team delivered medical assistance and carried out Ambulance Run Operations during CARAA 2026.
- Surveillance efforts were strengthened through the consistent submission of HEARS reports.
- Participation in CARAA planning meetings ensured that health services were well-prepared and effectively coordinated.

We also marked Hearts Month and Oral Health Month as part of the February health calendar through IEC sessions, social media awareness posts, IEC corners, and heart challenges for employees and the community.

Finally, sanitary permits were issued to businesses, helping maintain hygiene and sanitation standards across the Municipality.

All these efforts reflect our shared commitment to resilience, safety, and readiness. Together, we are building a healthier, stronger, and safer community.
