🌧️ Lumusong sa baha ngayong tag-ulan?
Mag-ingat sa Leptospirosis! Isang seryosong sakit na dulot ng bakterya mula sa ihi ng daga na humahalo sa tubig-baha.

⚠️ Mga karaniwang senyales ng Leptospirosis:
-Mataas na lagnat
-Matinding pananakit ng ulo at kalamnan
-Paninilaw ng mata o balat (jaundice)
-Pagsusuka at pananakit ng tiyan
-Pamumula ng mga mata

💧 Paano ito maiiwasan:
-Iwasang lumusong sa baha kung maaari.
-Gumamit ng bota at proteksiyon kung kailangang dumaan sa tubig-baha.
-Agad na maligo at linisin ang katawan pagkatapos lumusong.
-Magpatingin agad sa doktor kung makaranas ng mga sintomas.

💡 Ligtas sa panganib ang may alam!
-Maging handa, mag-ingat, at alamin ang tamang impormasyon upang maprotektahan ang sarili at pamilya laban sa Leptospirosis.

In celebration of Neurology Week 2025, the Philippine Neurological Association – Tuguegarao/Cagayan Valley Chapter, together with the Child Neurology Society Philippines, the Philippine College of Physicians – Upper Northeast Luzon Chapter, and the Philippine College of Chest Physicians – Northeast Luzon Chapter, successfully held a series of activities promoting brain and lung health.

Under the theme “Think, Think, and Smile: Developing Healthy Brains at an Early Age,” IM consultants shared valuable lectures on nurturing neurological health among children.

In partnership with P*P and PCCP, the team also launched the “Nico-Teen Va**ng: Beat the Vape!” campaign — raising awareness on the harmful effects of va**ng, ni****ne addiction, and its impact on brain development and lung function.

Together, we continue to champion healthy minds and healthy lungs for a healthier future! 💚
